“Japanese style pilaf tastes soy sauce.” If you have this stereotype, you may be surprised with our Japanese style pilaf. Its flavor is Japanese and somewhat Western. The secret of this fusion flavor is made of the gravy sauce, which is used as seasoning. This gravy is made taking three days and turns into very rich and fragrant. Our pilaf is made by adding this roast beef gravy sauce into rice and garnished with the Japanese herb “Mitsuba”. It is Japanese style pilaf based on Western cuisine unique to Shiseido Parlor.
